Joan Blevins Obituary
Joan was born in Portland, Maine, Dec. 3, 1946, the daughter of the late William Fallona and Helen Devine Fallona, and had been a Wallingford resident for many years. She was employed at Choate Rosemary Hall for over 25 years until her retirement.
In addition to her husband, John, she is survived by her two brothers, William Fallona and his wife Anna of Columbus, Ohio, and Mark Fallona and his wife Cynthia of Kaukauna, Wis.; her father-in-law, Marshall Blevins; two nieces and 3 nephews. Joan will be remembered as a special friend to many. She will miss her friends from Choate Rosemary Hall.
Her family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Tuesday, July 30, from 4 p.m. until 6:45 p.m. A funeral service will be held in The Wallingford Funeral Home at 7 p.m. Interment in the In Memoriam Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 825 Brook St., Rocky Hill, CT 06067.

I'm so sorry to hear of Joan's passing. Joanie and I played together as young children, growing up in the same neighborhood; it was actually her mother who taught me how to ride a bike.
