Rita Buick Obituary
Born in Somerville, Mass., on April 5, 1930, daughter of the late Francis and Anna Sullivan McCallum. She had worked for the SNET Company.
She was the mother of Thomas (Laurie) Buick, Kathy (Fred) Melillo, Robert (Claudia) Buick and Jane (Kevin) Dinneen. Her love of children showed especially with her 10 grandchildren, Amy Buick, Kim Buick Pappas, Natalie and Lauren Melillo, Meghan, Erin and Riley Dinneen and Annabel, Sarah and Ashley Buick. She was predeceased by her sister, Joan Greenwood.
Her funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., Monday, March 31, at 7 p.m. Entombment will be private and at the convenience of the family. The visiting hours will be Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the CT Hospice, Inc., 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405 or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
