AIKEN, S.C. - Thomas B. Augeri, 64, beloved husband of Mary (Konareski), of Aiken, S.C., formerly of Durham, Conn., passed away on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013.

He was born in Middletown, on March 17, 1948, to Joseph Augeri and the late Anne (Brandt) Augeri. Tom proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for the Wallingford Post Office until his retirement in 2006. He enjoyed volunteering, talking with friends and enjoying life.

Tom is survived by two daughters, Jennifer and husband, Wayne, Christine and husband, Kevin; brother, David; father, Joseph; and five grandchildren, Joshua, Madelyn, Jacob, Tyler, and Olivia.

Family and friends may call Sunday, Feb. 10, from 2 to 4 p.m. at D'Angelo Funeral Home, 22 South Main St., Middletown. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Feb. 11, at Notre Dame Church, 272 Main St., Durham at 10 a.m. Leaving D'Angelo Funeral Home at 9 a.m. Burial will be at the State Veterans' Cemetery on 317 Bow Lane, Middletown.
