Wilma Farrow Obituary
Wilma grew up in Winthrop and graduated from Winthrop High School. She was employed by First Boston Investment Company until her marriage to Franklin Farrow in February 1964.They then moved to Meriden in 1969 where she and her husband raised their three children. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for William Orsini & Associates until her retirement in 2007. Wilma was a parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Church. She was active in her community, volunteering at MidState Medical Center at Mediquick after her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends at her pool in the summer. She also was an avid shopper and loved going to the Flea Market and going out to eat.
She is survived by one daughter, Amy Lamson and son-in-law, Jamie, of Southington; two sons, William Farrow of Meriden and Robert Farrow of Colorado; and four grandsons, Joshua, Jordan, and Jamie Lamson, all of Southington, and Franklin Farrow of Colorado. Mrs. Farrow leaves behind her two loving poodles, Mia and Annie; and her dearest friend of 44 years, Joan Perzanowski.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 9:15 a.m. from the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 E. Main St., Meriden and at 10 a.m. for a Mass of Christian burial at St. Rose of Lima Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, Dec. 3 from 4 to 7 p.m.

Wilma was such a lovely lady. She made every day brighter. What a green thumb, our office was like a garden. Our condolences go out to the Farrow family, and her best buddy Joan, Sue and I will always have her in our hearts.

I am so very sorry to read about the loss of your dear Mother and Grandmother. Wilma was a loving person and friend. She loved to laugh!
