MERIDEN - Edward Pasinski, 95, beloved husband of the late Erna (Crouse) Pasinski, died on Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at MidState Medical Center.

Born on Jan. 18, 1917, he was the son of the late Frank and Anna Pasinski. Edward was a lifelong resident of Meriden and was one of the first residents to build his own home. Edward proudly served in the U.S. Army. He attended local schools and was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church. Edward was employed as an electrician by the Miller Company, from where he retired after many years of service. He was a member of the Silver City Men's Club. Edward was an avid golfer and especially enjoyed traveling to Cape Cod.
He is survived by his nephew and caregiver, Richard Pasinski and his wife, Linda, of Berlin; his brother, Ted Pasinski, of Syracuse, N.Y.; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters.
Family and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian burial on Tuesday, Oct. 16, at 10 a.m. directly at St. Stanislaus Church. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Stempien Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden.
