NEWINGTON - Jodi Lynn Trott–Jackson, beloved wife and mother, 44, of Newington passed peacefully with her family beside her on Tuesday, May 14, 2013, after a heroic three-year battle with esophageal cancer.

Born in Wallingford, to Marilyn and Robert Almy, she attended Wilcox Technical School and graduated with a license in cosmetology.
Jodi is survived by her husband, Christopher Jackson; her son, Alan Trott and her daughter, Taylor Trott; her parents, Marilyn and Robert Almy; and her siblings, Debra Hoth, Lori Boucher, Wendy Ream, Craig Hoth and Stephanie Kline. Jodi will be remembered by her sweet smile, her big brown eyes, her generous and loving heart and her courage and strength.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, May 18, at 10 a.m. Holy Spirit Church in Newington. Burial will follow inside Rose Hill Memorial Park. Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 17, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 580 Elm Street, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
