MERIDEN - Josephine Reale Kaminski, 95, went peacefully to join her loving husband, the late Walter Kaminski, on Friday, February 1, 2013, at the Masonic Health Care Center after a brief illness and surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Meriden on February 18, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Rocco and Marion (Zeldabelvisa) Reale. She was a lifelong Meriden resident and a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
She was survived by two daughters, Patricia Petrocelli and her husband, Thomas, and Linda Forster, all of Meriden; nine grandchildren, Tom and John Petrocelli, Tracy Logodicio, Lisa Nieves, Ronald Forster, Debra Criscio, Jennifer Forster, Stephanie Bouchard and Michelle Rios, 20 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Lorretta Reale, and several nieces and nephews, includ-ing a special niece, Ann Soroka. She was predeceased by three sisters, Emma, Rose and Julia, and five brothers, Louis, Sam, Joseph, Rocco and Alfred.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial on Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 109 Goodwill Ave. in Meriden. Everyone is asked to gather directly at the church. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 E. Main St., Meriden, on Monday, February 4, from 5 to 7 p.m.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the Hospice staff at Masonicare and the staff at 4 Ramage and 4 Wooster Rehab for the care given to Mrs. Kaminski.
