WALLINGFORD - Margaret Stiner Adams, 93, of Elmwood Road, died, Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at MidState Medical Center in Meriden. She was the beloved wife of the late Emil W. Adams.

Margaret was born in Uniontown, Pa., Sept. 2, 1917, a daughter of the late John Stiner, Sr., and Susan Forgac Stiner, and had been a Wallingford resident for many years. She had been a secretary in the office of the Connecticut Union of Telephone Workers in Hamden, until her retirement. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Yalesville, where she was a member of the Ladies Guild, and was an active bowler for many years.
She is survived by her son, Stephen E. Adams, of Wallingford; her sister, Frances Kuchta, of Smock, Pa.; many nieces and nephews; and many grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by four sisters; and 10 brothers.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial, Saturday, March 12, at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 382 Hope Hill Road, Wallingford. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be private in Sylvan Hights Cemetery in Uniontown, Pa. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be sent to Our Lady of Fatima Church, 382 Hope Hill Road, Yalesville, CT 06492.
