MERIDEN - Mary A. Bish, 95, beloved wife of the late John V. Bish, died peacefully at her home on Friday, June 7, 2013.

Born on Aug. 27, 1917. she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Danyluk) Idzi. A lifelong resident of Meriden, Mary attended local schools and was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church. She enjoyed bowling with her husband. Mary cherished the time she spent with her family, especially with her dear grandchildren.
Mrs. Bish is survived by her son, John M. Bish, and his wife, Deidra, of Meriden; her daughter, Barbara Myjak, and her husband, Richard, of North Haven; four grandsons, Kevin Myjak, Jonathan Myjak, Jamon Bish and Jean Bish; and two great-grandchildren, Ethan and Izabella Bish.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Jeanne Bish, and her grandson, Matthew Myjak.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday June 11, 2013, at 9:15 a.m. from the Stempien Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden, when the funeral cortege will proceed to St. Stanislaus Church for a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
