WALLINGFORD - Yolanda Petrucelli Timek, 83, of Wallingford, loving wife of 62 years of Raymond Timek, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013.

Yolanda was born in Meriden, Nov. 24, 1929, a daughter of the late Rocco Petrucelli and Josephine Izzo Petrucelli and had been a Wallingford resident for many years. She was employed at the Thompson's Candy Company in Meriden for many years and also the Lord and Taylor Distribution Center in Wallingford. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Wallingford.
In addition to her husband Ray, she is survived by her sons, Craig Timek and his wife, Mary-Alice Petrucelli Timek, of Wallingford; and Tim Timek and his wife, Deborah, of Meriden; her three granddaughters, Rae-Allyson McCarthy and her husband, Daniel, Stephanie Timek and Katie Timek; her sister, Lucy Petrucelli Wu-strack, of Wallingford; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her four brothers, Mario Pe-trucelli, Daniel Petrucelli, Rocco Petrucelli and Michael Petrucelli.
Yolanda's family would like to thank her caregiver, Alla for all of her loving care and compassion.
Her family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Wednes-day, Sept. 18, from 5 until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday, from The Wallingford Funeral Home at 11 a.m. when the funeral cortege will proceed to Our Lady of Fatima Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 12 p.m. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Meriden.
