ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - Louise Mildred Scionti Ansell, 71, of Jacksonville, Fla., beloved wife of the late James C. Ansell Jr., departed this life and joined the Lord on Wednesday, May 18, 2011.

Louise was born on July 25, 1939 in Meriden, daughter of the late Louis and Mildred Scionti. Louise loved her family, "playing artist," flowers, animals, and the ocean. The one constant in her life was her faith and love for Jesus Christ. Family holidays were her favorite, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas. She was a brave and courageous woman who fought a lifelong battle with long-term physical degeneration, and ultimately breast cancer and she will remain an inspiration to many.
She will be missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Jim and his wife, Denise, Roy, April and her husband, Jeremy; daughters-in-law, Karen and Kelly; grandchildren, Brittany, Thomas and Christine; sister, Marilyn Tomczak and her husband, Paul; sister, Janis Cifaldi-Haritos; nephews, Nate Booth and Rick Booth; niece, Melissa Cifaldi; and cousin, June Fike. She also leaves dear friends, Louis-Victor Gibeault and Gloria Morotti. Besides her parents and husband, Louise is preceded in death by her son, John M. Ansell.
