MERIDEN- Monique E. Hadvab, 50, died on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, at her home surrounded by her closest aunt and her loving mother and father.

Born in Meriden on Nov. 30, 1963, she was the daughter of George and Jeannine (Prenen) Hadvab.

Besides her parents she is survived by two daughters, Amanda Scenti, of Unionville, and McKenzie Scenti, of Meriden; two step-sons, Stephen Scenti, of Tennessee, and Eric Scenti, of Meriden. She is also survived by one brother, Walter Hadvab and his wife, Elizabeth, of Vermont; two aunts; and many relatives including her two cousins, Ryan Hadvab and Jeremy Hadvab; and many friends.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, Feb. 21, at 10 a.m. at St Laurent Church, 121 Camp St., Meriden. Everyone is asked to gather directly at the church. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the John J. Ferry and Sons Funeral Home, 88 E. Main St., Meriden, on Thursday, Feb. 20, from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the , New England Division, Norwalk, CT 06854.
