MERIDEN- June Gudelski, 69, wife of the late James L. Gudelski, died on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, at Masonic Healthcare Center after a lengthy illness.

Born in New Haven on June 25, 1944, she was the daughter of the late James and Rita (Tremblay) McEvoy. She had resided in Meriden for most of her life, attended Maloney High School and graduated from Briarwood College. She was a parishioner of St. Laurent Church and was a Eucharistic Minister. June was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by her loving family. June and James always looked forward to their trips and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by two sons, Richard Gudelski, of Hartford and Michael Gudelski and his wife, Donna, of Meriden; three grandchildren, Marisa Marquardt, Morgan Gudelski and Joshua Gudelski, and a sister, Maureen Girard and her husband, Jack, of Hebron. She is also survived by several sisters-in-law; and brothers-in law; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, Feb. 22, at 9:30 from the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 E. Main St., Meriden and at 10 a.m. at St. Laurent Church, 121 Camp St., Meriden for a Mass of Christian burial. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
