BERLIN - Teresa M. (Bober) Soliwoda, 83, of Berlin, loving wife of George Soliwoda, died Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at The Hospital of Central Connecticut, New Britain.

Born in New Britain, daughter of the late Walter and the late Mary (Karpienia) Bober, she graduated from New Britain High School, and was employed at Spring & Buckley for 40 years. She was a member of St. Paul Church in Kensington. Teresa was an avid fan of UConn basketball and the Boston Red Sox.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Nancy Parda, of Middletown, and Claudia and Ben DiValentino, of Wolcott; a brother, Richard Bober, of Kensington; a very special and beloved grandson, Kendall Soliwoda; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Walter Bober Jr.; and a sister, Agnes Carney.

Funeral services took place on Saturday, April 5, from Porter's Funeral Home, 111 Chamberlain Highway, Kensington, with a funeral liturgy at St. Paul's Church, Kensington. Burial was followed in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O.
