HAMDEN - Ethel Keeny Rupp, 67, of Hamden, died Saturday, June 7, 2014 at The Connecticut Hospice in Branford with her loving family by her side. She was the loving wife of David R. Rupp.

She was born in New Haven, August 13, 1946, a daughter of the late William and Beverly Beecher Keeny, and had retired from the Arthritis and Osteoporosis Center.

In addition to her husband, David, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Marc Tressel; her grandsons, David and Jonathan Tressel; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathryn and Ken McIntyre and Elizabeth and Gilbert Rivera; and her nieces and nephews, Kenneth, Kellie, Kimberlee, Amanda, and Adam.

Ethel's family would like to thank the staff of Connecticut Hospice for the exceptional care and compassion they provided.

Her family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Wallingford, Tuesday, June 10, from 5 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, June 11, at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Meriden. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be sent to The Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405.
