WALLINGFORD - Frances Bernice Dembiczak Morganti, 89, of Wallingford, died peacefully Saturday, June 7, 2014, at her home with, Salvatore Morganti, her faithful husband of 69 years, by her side.

She was born Oct. 9, 1924, the daughter of the late Charles and Sophia Tenczar Dembiczak. She was a graduate of the local school systems and worked at The International Silver Co. during the war. Later, she worked for Hamilton Standard Watch Co. and was an office manager for Dr. Bauer and Dr. Rosen. Frances was a parishioner of Most Holy Trinity Church and was an avid reader.

In addition to her husband, Salvatore, she is survived by her son, Richard Morganti, and his fiancée, Susan Myslak, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; her beloved grandchildren, Michael Morganti, of Cheshire; Lauren and Christopher Connelly, of Fairfield; Michael Myslak and wife, Alyssa; and Allison Myslak, all of Kensington; her great-grandsons, Maxton and Bryden Connelly and Luke Myslak; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and her dear friend, Leah Kroeber. She was predeceased by her daughter, Marilynn Morganti Rivest; and her sisters, Helen Micue and Florence Kiss.

The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to Frances's caregivers at The Village of Kensington Place, Companions and Homemakers, and especially to VITAS Innovative Health Care with nurse Sharon McCullough, for their dedication to their patients.

Her family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street Ext., Tuesday, June 10, from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 11 from The Wallingford Funeral Home at 9 a.m., when the funeral cortege will proceed to Most Holy Trinity Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Wallingford. Gifts in her memory may be sent to Most Holy Trinity Church, 68 N. Colony St., Wallingford, CT 06492.
