WALLINGFORD - Elizabeth V. "Sparky" Rusczek, 91, of Wallingford, died Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at the Regency House in Wallingford.

She was born in Wallingford, Nov. 28, 1922, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Ferry Rusczek. She was employed by International Silver Company for 42 years until her retirement and was a parishioner of St. Casimir's National Catholic Church and a member of the Wallingford Senior Center.

She is survived by her brothers, Joseph Rusczek and his wife, Anna, and Adwin Rusczek and his wife, Lucy; and many nieces and nephews including Carol and Joseph Banack. She was predeceased by her sisters, Viola Ginalski, Valeria Kwolek, Ceil Gruz, Evelyn Malanowicz and Anna Russell; and her brothers, Albert Rusczek and John Rusczek.

Her family would like to thank the staff of the Regency House for their loving and excellent care of "Sparky".

Her family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Friday, June 13, from 12 until 1 p.m. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 1 p.m. The Very Rev. Joseph Krusienski will officiate at the service. Interment will be St. Casimir's Cemetery in Wallingford. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be sent to St. Casimir's, 240 Quinnipiac St., Wallingford, CT 06492.
