WALLINGFORD - Lois E. Riccio Adams, 71, of Wallingford, died Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Masonicare Health Center. She was the beloved wife of Frank C. Adams Jr. for 48 years.

She was born in Meriden, March 13, 1943, a daughter of the late John and Minnie Riccio, and was a graduate of Lyman Hall High School.
Lois was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her husband, Frank, she is survived by her three children, Kim Herter, and her husband, Joseph of Ashland, Mass.; Kerri Funaro, and her husband, James, of Wallingford; and Frank Adams III, and his wife, Bernadette, of Higganum; her six grandchildren, Connor, Aidan, Luke, Quinn, Cameron, and Dylan; her twin brother, John Riccio, and his wife, Betsy; her sisters-in-law, Noreen Adams and Patricia Riccio; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Ronald Riccio.
Her family would like to thank the staffs of MidState Medical Center and Masonicare Health Center for the excellent care and compassion that they provided.
Her family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, July 9, from 5 to 8 p.m. in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from the funeral home, when the funeral cortege will proceed to Most Holy Trinity Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery.
