WALLINGFORD - Elias Biros, 63, of Wallingford, beloved husband of 37 years to Fani Pesintzis Biros, died peacefully on Thursday July 31, 2014.

Born in Litochoro, Greece, he was the son of Athanasios and Chrisoula Kasithoyiannis Biros. A resident of Wallingford for over 33 years, he was the proprietor of the Olympos Diner. He was a hardworking and dedicated family man whose life centered around work and family. He was a member of the A.H.E.P.A. and the Litochoroian Brotherhood.

In addition to his devoted wife, Fani, survivors include his son, Athanasios Biros; his daughter, Chrisoula Nuzzolillo, and husband, Pasquale Jr.; all of Wallingford; two granddaughters, Elianna and Alexandra; a sister, Akrivi Koutroulas, and husband, Athanasios, of Bridgeport; a brother, Nikolaos Biros, and wife, Voula, of Meriden; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to go directly for the Rite of Burial on Monday, Aug. 4, at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, Bridgeport, with Fr. Andreas Vithoulkas, Presbyter, officiating, followed by interment in Mt. Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Calling hours will take place on Sunday, Aug. 3, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Commerce Hill Funeral Home, 4798 Main St. Bridgeport, with Trisagion services at 6 p.m. in the funeral home.
