WALLINGFORD - James R. Ledingham, 61, of Wallingford, loving companion of LuAnn Leclerc passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014.
James was born Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, Sept. 5, 1952, the son of Allan Ledingham and Joyce Brown Ledingham, of Georgia. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and was employed by Plastics One, Inc. in Wallingford for many years until his retirement.
He is survived by his three daughters, Katie Raboin and her husband, Jason, of North Haven, Sarah Ledingham, of Cromwell and Rachel Tedesco and her husband, Nick, of Terryville; the mother of his children, Trish Cleary, of Terryville; LuAnn's children, Renee dela Chevrotiere and her husband, Jason and Michael Leclerc, all of Wallingford; his sisters, Lorene Reid and her husband, Bob, and Susie Ledingham, all of Georgia; his grandchildren, Annabella, Amalia, Hailey and Lily; his niece, Amy Gordon and her family; his nephew, Ryan Bundo and his family; and his beloved dog, "Sampson."
His family will receive relatives and friends at The Wallingford Funeral Home, Friday, Aug. 29, from 4 until 6:45 p.m. A memorial service will be held in The Wallingford Funeral Home at 7 p.m. Interment will be private.
