Stephen C. Dymarczyk

WALLINGFORD - Stephen C. Dymarczyk, 81, beloved husband for 41 years to Stasia Mytych Dymarczyk, of Wallingford, died Saturday, Aug.15, 2009, at the Masonic Healthcare Center in Wallingford.

Born in New Britain, Sept. 2, 1927, a son of the late Teofil and Antoinette Rusczyk Dymarczyk, he had been a Wallingford resident for many years. Stephen had been employed by Pratt & Whitney Aircraft for 34 years until his retirement from the East Hartford plant in 1989. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Church in the Yalesville section of Wallingford and was an usher, a member of the men's club and a volunteer at the annual bazaar for many years. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the U. S. Army and was a life member of AMVETS. A devoted family man, he enjoyed many vacations at Cape Cod every spring and autumn. He was an avid gardener and loved flowers.

Besides his wife, Stasia, he is survived by his son, Daniel S, Dymarczyk of Casper, Wyo.; his sister, Theresa (Mrs. Dominic) Pedrolini of Plainville; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Regina Galka; and a brother, Anthony Dymarczyk.

His family will receive relatives and friends in The Yalesville Funeral Home, 386 Main St., Yalesville section of Wallingford, Monday from 4 until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, at 10 a.m. from The Yalesville Funeral Home, when the funeral cortege will proceed to Our Lady of Fatima Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment will be private.
