MERIDEN - Geraldine Floyd Rogers, 76, wife of Edward Rogers, died on Wednesday, June 2, 2010, at home in Oviedo, Fla.

She was born April 6, 1934 in Bangor, Maine, a daughter of the late Edwin and Betty (Hamilton) Floyd. She was a graduate of Meriden High School, class of 1952.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Debi Nahigyan, of Raleigh, N.C., and Donna Halton of N. Adams, Mass.; a son, William Rogers, of Suffield; and seven grandchildren, Pierce, Derek and Holly Nahigyan, Justin and Erin Halton and Sara and Teresa Rogers.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 5, at 12 noon at the Beecher and Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12 noon, prior to the service.
