WALLINGFORD - Robert Walter Cameron, 88, of Wallingford, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at Gaylord Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Marie Kadyszewski Cameron.

He was born in Meriden, Aug. 29, 1924, a son of the late Amos and Emily Cameron. He was employed as a Dental Technician and Co-owner of Morse Dental Lab in Meriden. Robert was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and had fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He was active in the Boy Scouts Troop 12, of Wallingford, a Past Commander of the D.A.V. of Meriden, and an avid gardener and fisherman. He loved spending time at his cottage on Big Pond in Otis, Mass.
In addition to his wife Marie, he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Peter and Catherine Cameron, of Wallingford; his grandson, Jeffrey Cameron, of Southington; and numerous nieces and nephews.
His family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Wallingford, on Saturday, Dec. 8, , from 12 until 1 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 1 p.m. Interment will be private.
