WALLINGFORD - Paul Sartori, 88, of Wallingford, died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at the MidState Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of 52 years of Alma Politi Sartori.

Born in Piacenza, Italy, Feb. 1, 1924, a son of the late Joseph and Rose Sartori, he was a Wallingford resident for over 60 years. He had been employed by the Stanley-Judd Company, and the International Silver Company for many years and later by the Masonic Home until his retirement. He had served in the Alpini Division of the Italian Army during World War II and was a parishioner of Most Holy Trinity Church.
Besides his wife Alma, he is survived by his son, Richard P. Sartori, of Wallingford; his grandsons, Daniel Sartori and Jonathan Sartori, both of Wallingford; his sisters, Emilia Stone, of Wallingford and Roseanna Petrossi and her husband, Frederick Petrossi Sr., of New Britain; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Marco D. Sartori; and his sister, Sr. Vittorina Sartori.
His family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St., Ext., Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday at 9 a.m. from The Wallingford Funeral Home when the funeral cortege will proceed to Most Holy Trinity Church where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery.
