Mr. Brian Cummings, 50 of Bristol passed away Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013 at the Vitas Innovative Hospice Care Unit at St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury. He was the husband of Ann (Marcotte) Cummings.
Brian was born Sept. 25, 1962, in New Britain the son of Malcolm and Jean (Dabkowski) Cummings of Plainville. He was a graduate of Plainville High School. He was an amateur photographer and videographer who enjoyed taking nature photos to share with his family and friends. Brian produced videos for the Plainville Choral Society for the past 20 years and was a self-taught guitarist who enjoyed playing songs with his friends. Brian also had a green thumb and was able to nurture all types of plants and flowers.
Besides his wife and parents, he leaves his son, Chris Cummings, and daughters, Melissa Cummings and Ashley Cummings, all of Bristol; his sister, Pamela Lewis and her husband, William, of Farmington; his aunt and Godmother, Jann Cummings, of Florida; his aunt, Evelyn Wilkins, of Maine; and his uncle and aunt George and Noreen Cummings, of Maine.
A celebration of life for Brian will be celebrated Sunday, Feb.10, at 1 p.m., at Asbury Methodist Church, 90 Church Ave., in Forestville. Burial will be held privately.
