ROCKY HILL - Wayne P. Macri, 60, died on Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at home after a lengthy illness.

Born in Meriden on Aug. 30, 1952, he was the son of the late John B. and Fledra (Harwood) Macri, Sr. He had resided in Meriden, moving to Rocky Hill 12 years ago, and had graduated from Meriden schools. Mr. Macri was employed by Triple Springs Spring Water Company as the Route Supervisor for over 20 years. He had an outstanding attendance record, and a remarkable ability to manage multiple priorities. Well-liked by both his customers and fellow employees for his kindness and good-natured sense of humor, his presence will be deeply missed. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served with the U.S. Army.

He is survived by one brother, John Macri, of Meriden; two nieces, Kimberly (Macri) Kapica and Kelly (Macri) Ciesielski; and one nephew, Shannon Macri. He was predeceased by a brother, Neil A. Macri.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 14, at 11 a.m. at The John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., Meriden. Burial with military honors will be in the State Veterans Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown.
