Florence S. Brown

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. - Florence S. Brown, 85, of New Smyrna Beach, a former administrative assistant in the Public Works Department for the Town of Greenfield, MA, died Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Halifax Health Hospice Care Center, Port Orange.
Mrs. Brown was born in New York City, NY, and moved to Florida in 1986 from Greenfield. She was a graduate of Taft High School, Bronx, NY, and Hunter College in New York and in her earlier years, she was a runway and television model in New York City.
She was a huge Jeopardy fan and a member of the READ Book Club in New Smyrna Beach.
She is survived by two sons, Carey (Janis) Brown of Port Orange and Glenn (Allyson) Brown of Greenfield; one daughter, Pamela (Kevin) Bonney of Bedford, NH, and four grandchildren, Timothy, Andrew, Brooke and Taylor.
