LEVERETT - ""Riddle done died."" Pastor Larry G. Riddle, 72, of Moores Corner Church, stepped into the presence of the Lord Monday (5-19-14) at home, surrounded by his loving family. Larry was born in Red Lion, PA, on July 2, 1941, the son of Harry and Margaret (Koons) Riddle. He was a graduate of York High School, Class of 1958.
He served honorably in the United States Marine Corps
from 1959-1963. On Dec. 12, 1964, Larry married his wife, the former Edith Hoffberg. Larry graduated with honors from Southeastern Bible College in 1977 with a bachelor's degree in Pastoral Theology and from the University of Alabama in 1978 with a master's degree in Counseling.
Pastor Riddle served Moores Corner Church and the surrounding communities for nearly 36 years, including being an in-house minister for the Kostanski Funeral Home. Over the years, he trained many men for the ministry and sent them out to serve. Larry loved God, loved being a Pastor and was there to help anyone in their time of need. He treated everyone with compassion, acceptance and a sense of humor that left a lasting impression. There were three principles Larry lived by and encouraged others to do so: God is sovereign, God's timing is always perfect and I am God's child to do with as He pleases. Pastor Riddle will be loved and dearly missed by everyone whose life was touched by him.
