Marjorie Helen (Walker) Peck

GREENFIELD - Marjorie Helen (Walker) Peck, 95, of 95 Laurel St., formerly of Buckland, died Saturday, May 4, at Buckley HealthCare Center.
She was born in Buckland, March 31, 1918, the daughter of Thomas and Bertha (Schonbein) Walker. She was a 1936 graduate of Arms Academy, Shelburne Falls, and a graduate of the former Bliss Business School in North Adams.
Prior to retirement in 1975, she was employed by the former Shelburne Falls Savings Bank as a teller.
Marjorie was a member of Trinity Church in Shelburne Falls and was also a 60-year member of Arcana Chapter 50 Eastern Star.
She enjoyed working with crafts - knitting, crocheting, tatting and cake decorating. She also enjoyed playing golf.
She was married to Frederick Russell Peck on Oct. 26, 1941. He predeceased her on April 15, 1974.
Survivors include her daughter, Marlene A. (Howard) Field of Buckland, and her son, Thomas F. Peck, also of Buckland; two grandsons, Michael and Daniel, both of Greenfield.
She was predeceased by her brother, Clifford Walker in 1985, and her sister, Alberta Walker in 1970.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 8, at 11 a.m. at the Smith-Kelleher Funeral Home in Shelburne Falls. Burial will be in Arms Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.
