Norma (Badulato) Brigham, 88, formerly of Colrain and South Hadley, passed away peacefully on Oct. 15, 2013 at Overlook at Northampton.
Norma was born in Millville, NJ, Jan. 8, 1925, and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (DeLaurentis) Badulato. She graduated from Millville High School, Class of 1942.
Norma met and was married to Allan Brigham in 1945, and together they shared 60 years of love and devotion until Allan's death in 2005.
In 1946, Norma started a 35-year career in banking at Holyoke Savings Bank, during which she advanced from clerk to Assistant Vice President and Loan Administration Officer, retiring in 1981. Along with her bank accomplishments, she devoted considerable time to community service with the Board of Realtors, American Cancer Society, the Heart Association, Greater Holyoke Chamber of Commerce, United Way and a volunteer at the Franklin Medical Center.
Norma was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Holyoke, where she served on numerous boards and committees and a member of the Ashfield Country Club.
Norma enjoyed golf, golf and more golf, singing the 40's, summer band concerts in Shelburne Falls, walking the Bridge of Flowers, family get togethers, summer vacations in Sea Isle City, NJ, and wintering at her home in Dade City, Florida.
She leaves several nieces and nephews locally and throughout the United States.
Norma will be buried with her husband at the North River Cemetery in Colrain, MA, at the convenience of the family.
