Owen J. Drumgool Sr., 89, of Flagstaff, AZ, passed away Oct. 10, 2013 at 7:30 a.m. at the Olivia White Hospice Home.
He was born Nov. 28, 1923 in Greenfield, Mass., to Joseph and Malvina St. Laurent Drumgool. He graduated from Greenfield High School in 1941, and joined the military serving in the U.S. Army
Air Corps from 1941 to 1945.
July 9, 1945, he married Pauline Long. They shared 68 wonderful years together.
Mr. Drumgool worked at the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department as an Evidence Officer.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling and many hobbies. Most importantly, he loved spending time with family.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline; sons, Owen Jr. and his wife Peach, Jeff and wife Laurie; his grandchildren, John, Alison, Dana, Rebecca, Ivy, Lucia, Finnegan, and several great-grandchildren. He is also survived by brother, James of Cincinnati, Ohio.
His brothers, Bernard and Joseph, and sisters, Lorraine Clough and Mary Wiles, preceded him in death.
