Ronald E. Taylor Sr.

COLRAIN - Ronald E. Taylor Sr., 57, died on Wednesday (10-24-12) at the Charlene Manor Extended Care Facility in Greenfield.
Born on Sept. 19, 1955 in Montague, he was the son of Arthur L. and Patricia (LaClaire) Taylor. He attended Gill and Turners Falls schools, as well as Greenfield Community College.
He was a U.S. veteran, having served in the Marines.
Ronald was a contractor and construction worker. He enjoyed cars - especially muscle cars, walking and fitness, and homeopathic nutrition. He loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. His spiritual beliefs were well-lived, and will be well-remembered by all who he leaves behind.
Survivors include his father, Arthur Taylor of South Carolina; mother, Patricia Winter of Arizona; two sons: Ronald Jr. and his wife Heather of Turners Falls and Christopher and his wife Lisa of Colrain; his daughter, Patricia Ruggles and her husband Todd of Greenfield, and six grandchildren: Kaige, Jaylah, Christopher Jr., Amber and Kaydan Taylor and Ariana Ruggles. He also leaves a brother, Brian, of Orange and two sisters: Vicki Kimplin of Sunderland and Linda Hinterleitner of Montague, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be announced by family at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker Funeral Home, 14 High St. Greenfield.
