GREENFIELD - Arthur H. ""Tiny"" Markoski, 94, of 165 Green River Road, died peacefully at home on Monday (6-16-14), surrounded by his family.

He was a lifelong resident of Greenfield, born on May 2, 1920 to his parents, Josephine (Misiun) and Victor Markoski. He attended Greenfield schools.
During WW II, Tiny served in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged.
On May 24, 1945, Tiny married Mary ""Mitzi"" Grader and they recently celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary.
During his long life, he was a self-employed farmer and owned and operated ""Tiny's Piggery"" in Greenfield for 18 years. He also owned Shelburne Falls Package Store in Shelburne. Tiny retired from Luey & Abercrombie in 1982.
Tiny truly enjoyed convertible cars, hunting and fishing, and he also had a fondness for pigs.
Tiny was a member of Holy Trinity Church, the Elks Club and a member of the former White Eagles Society.
In addition to his wife, Tiny is survived by two sons, Jerry and his wife Ricci of Bellingham, Wash., and Paul and his wife, Jane, of Greenfield, Mass. He also leaves eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday (6-20-14) at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, 133 Main St., Greenfield, MA. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
There are no calling hours.
