Harold Jensen Obituary
Harold is survived by three children; David E. Jensen of Lake Pleasant, Ma., Nancy J. Brattan of Rye, N.H., and Peter H. Jensen of Kingfield, ME., his sister Laura Gurney of S. Yarmouth, now 100, and companion Lois Racz of Charlton.
He leaves 7 grandchildren, Enoch O. Jensen of Shelburne, Ashley, Kyle, and Tyler Jensen and Josh Smith of Kingfield area ME., and Kayley and Lyndsay Brattan of Rye, N.H., and 3 great grandchildren; Una C., Mathew J. and Carli B. Jensen of Shelburne.
Mr. Jensen served in WWII in the Seabees in Iceland, Hawaii, Tinian and Okinawa. In 1948 he married and settled in the Mattapan area and Dover, MA. He graduated from the Lowell Institute and was employed by the New England Tel & Tel Co. for 41 years retiring to Rangeley, ME., in 1976. The couple settled in Brewster, MA. in 1995. Mr. Jensen loved history, gardening and travel throughout his life and was an active Mason and Shriner.
A Remembrance Service and gathering will be held Saturday, January 5, 2012 with a Service at 11 AM in the James C. Nicholl, Jr. Chapel at the Overlook Masonic Home, 88 Masonic Home Rd., in Charlton, a reception will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial Contributions may be made to: Shriners Hospitals for Children or the Overlook Masonic Home of Charlton Hospice program or a local hospice program. The Robert J. Miller-Charlton Funeral Home, 175 Old Worcester Rd. is assisting Harold's family with arrangements.

My sincere condolences to all Harold's loved ones. I was able to meet him for just a few minutes in Brewster and have a picture of him with Lois framed on the wall above my computer monitor. All best wishes for good memories to accompany your futures.
