William Henry Morris, 77, of Gloucester, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2014.

Born in South Boston on May 4, 1936, he was the son of the late Henry and Mary Morris of South Boston.
Mr. Morris served honorably in the United States Marine Corps and he received his degree in Education from Boston State University. Initially a school teacher, Mr. Morris later became a pioneer in marketing and sales within the computer industry working for Honeywell and Wang Computers over a 25-year period.
Mr. Morris is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Sullivan; his five children, William Jr., Mary Beth, Julie Fallon, Matthew and Sean, and his five grandchildren, Alan Brown, Erin Pierce, Mariel Brown-Fallon, Kevin Pierce and Matthew Morris Jr. Mr. Morris is also survived by his sisters, Carole Ringer and Kathleen Soh, and his brother, Gerard.
He was predeceased by his brother Joseph Morris and Sister Marie Morris.
Visiting hours will be held in the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington St., Gloucester, on Friday, March 28th, from 5 to 9 p.m.
His funeral service will be held privately.
