GILL - Alma Marie (Paulin) Dickerman, 82, of Route 2, died Thursday 7/4/13 at the Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield, surrounded by her family.

She was born in Montague on April 16, 1931, the daughter of John J. and Leona M. (Adam) Paulin. Alma was educated at St. Anne's Parochial School and was a graduate of Turners Falls High School.
For a period of time, Alma worked at Wilson's Department Store and the Greenfield Tap & Die. Before retiring, she worked for many years in the East Spoke facility at the Franklin Medical Center as a nurse's aide.
Alma loved to travel around the country and abroad. In her earlier years, she enjoyed spending many happy summers going on camping trips with her family and friends.
Besides her husband, Leon F. Dickerman, Alma leaves a daughter, Patricia Noga and her husband Stanley of VT, three sons, Robert L. Dickerman and his wife Cynthia of MA, Steven F. Dickerman and his wife Bella of MA, and Michael J. Dickerman of ME, a brother, Robert J. Paulin of Sunnyvale, CA, a sister, Doris M. Paulin of Turners Falls, six grandchildren, Jenna, Christopher, Jon, Robbie, Reinhard and Aldo, and several nieces and nephews in CA.
Funeral services will be private. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01004.
