GREENFIELD - Ann (Szulborski) Adams, 91, of 122 Shelburne Road and formerly of Ferrante Ave., passed away Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014, at Baystate Franklin Medical Center.

Ann was born in Greenfield on May 27, 1922, one of eight children born to Stanley and Anna (Rzana) Szulborski. She was a graduate of Greenfield High School.
On Feb. 15, 1947 Ann was married to Earl F. Adams and together they celebrated 65 years of marriage. Earl predeceased Ann on Nov. 4, 2012.
Ann was a stay-at-home Mom while her daughters were growing up and when Ann was able, she joined Earl and helped to operate the family business, Adams Donut Shop.
Family always came first for Ann. She enjoyed spending as much time as she could with her daughters and husband whether it be on vacations to Lake Champlain, just at home, or even at the donut shop. Family was her priority.
Survivors include her daughter and best friend, Jean Smith of Greenfield; three grandchildren, Jason Semaski and his wife Kerry, Ana Smith and Jennifer Ahearn; four great-grandchildren: Joshua, John and Lauren Semaski and Jeremiah Ahearn; longtime family friend, Cecil Jacobs; very close friend, Gladys Shattuck; Charles Smith and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Ann was also predeceased by her daughter, Kathleen Ahearn in 1992.
A Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday at Blessed Sacrament Church at 10 a.m. Committal prayers will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested memorial contributions be made to the Holyoke VNA and Hospice Life Care, 113 Hamden St., Holyoke, MA 01040.
