Annie B. Lego, 77 formerly of Clinton, CT, born April 27, 1936 passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013, after a long battle with Alzheimer's in Salem, NH. She was a remarkable lady who was loved by everyone who knew her and she will be dearly missed.
Annie worked hard all her life and in her spare time loved gardening, relaxing and fishing at her camp in Heath, MA. She also loved spending time with her large family. She retired after working for the same company for thirty years.
She is a descendent of the Blatchley family of Guilford, CT, and as a child resided on the Nut Plains farm in Guilford.
She is survived by her children Randolph Lego and Tonda of Maine, Edwin L. Lego II of Maine, Candace and Larry Couch of Massachusetts and Michelle Catanzaro of New Hampshire. She also leaves her grandchildren, Larry and Jessica Couch, Randy Lego and Mandy, Amanda and Kenji Nakamura, Christine Lego, Raymond Couch, Tiffany Lego and Courtney Catanzaro, as well as her great-grandchildren, Rena, Taejya and Kaori, and also by her brothers, Charles and Samuel, as well as by her sister, Mary-Arlene, and many nieces and nephews.
She is greeted into the spiritual world by her son, Joseph Lego, and grandson, David Aaron Catanzaro, and by her three sisters, Gerry, Frances and Harriet.
The service will be on Saturday, Oct 5, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Hampstead Congregational Church, 61 Main St., Hampstead, NH 03841. We welcome those who knew Annie to celebrate her life with us. A private burial will take place at a later date at Nut Plains Cemetery in Guilford, CT.
