WARWICK - Beverly Alden, 69, formerly of Warwick and South Deerfield, died early Saturday morning, December 29, 2012 at the Farren Care Center in Montague following an illness.

Born in Montague on October 29, 1943, she was one of nine children born to the late Albert P. and Hazel (Joslyn) Sr. and grew up in Warwick, graduating from Pioneer Regional School in Northfield in 1961.
Beverly enlisted into the United States Airforce on June 26, 1962 during the Vietnam War and was granted an honorable discharge on August 31, 1962 due to medical reasons.
Beverly worked several jobs over the years and was a huge cat lover.
Survivors include her sister, Evelyn Hurlburt of Orange; brothers, Albert P. Alden Jr. and Richard Alden, both of Warwick; several nephews and nieces; and several grandnephews and grandnieces; and her many friends at Farren Care Center.
Besides her parents, Beverly was predeceased by brothers, Robert Alden, Kenneth Alden, Russell Alden, and Charles Alden, and a sister, Alberta Lague.
There are no calling hours.
A graveside service will be held in the spring of 2013 at Holtshire Cemetery in Orange at a date and time to be announced.
