Marcia and I were so sorry to learn about Charlie's passing. I loved both Charlie and Cindy when I worked with them as Supt, of Schools in Mohawk and the Stetson's were the bus contractors for the school district. We shared many anxious early morning phone calls trying to judge the road conditions for school closing. The Stetson's were great to work with on all occasions. I also enjoyed working with Charlie as a member of the School Committee. He always made his decisions on what he thought would be best for the students for the community he represented which was Hawley. He was a very reliable and conscientious person on all matters regardless on all matters.

Charlie will be remembered and missed by many people in the school district and the nine towns in the Mohawk Trail Regional School District.

Our deepest condolences to Cindy and family members. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time.

Miss Cindi, I know you don't know me, but I am Uncle Charlie's niece, my father was Richard. I have such fond memories of Uncle Charlie as a child and as a young women when I lived with Grandma Stetson in Charlemont. He was such a gentle and caring person, I know he will be missed by many that knew him. Know that you and the family are in my thoughts and prayers and hold his memories close to you and he will never be forgotten. Marsha (Stetson) Howes-Booth
