Her husband of 42 years, Kimball A. Chambers and her second husband, Robert Baillargeon, preceded her in death in 1980 and 2004, respectively. She is also survived by her other loving twin-daughter, Ethel C. Dillensneider of Greenfield, MA, and son-in-law, Gary Dillensneider, and loving son, Kimball F. Chambers of Lumberton, NC, and daughter-in-law, Sherry Chambers; grandchildren: Shaina Kosloski, Brandy Dillensneider, Amanda Katzenberger, Leilani O'Toole, Kimball J. Chambers and Steven Chambers; great-grandchildren: Angelina Kosloski, Gary Kosloski, Christian Katzenberger, Adriana Katzenberger, Ryleigh Katzenberger, Levi O'Toole and Kayden Chambers, and also by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was one of nine children born to Frank David Newton and Temperance White, Aug. 22, 1919 in Greenfield, MA. She is survived by two sisters, Beatrice (Betty) Seibert of Greenfield, MA, and Bertha LaClaire of Leverett, MA, and one brother, Frank (Bill) W. Newton of Erving, MA.
Charlotte lived in and around the Greenfield, MA, area until 1985 when she moved to Largo, Fla. She enjoyed boating with daughter, Elizabeth and son-in-law, George P. Pennington III, swimming in the pool at Grosse Pointe Estates, jigsaw puzzles and gardening.
She has affected many people in her long life of 94 years and one of the comments most said about her was that ""her smile could light up the room and her laugh was infectious.""
She will be sorely missed but will be remembered in our hearts forever.
Services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at Northfield Center Cemetery, Northfield, MA. Following the service there will be a reception at the Kosloski residence in Erving.
