Diana Marie (Beauregard) Lapean, 54, of Colrain, MA, passed away peacefully in Worcester, MA, on Saturday, Sept. 28th, 2013, surrounded by her loved ones.
Diana was born in Montague, MA, on Dec. 11, 1958, to William J. and Lorraine M.(Thompson) Beauregard. She attended Montague schools and married Barry M. Lapean on June 13th, 1981.
She was employed at the dental office of Dr. Jeff Collura.
Most important to Diana was her family. She was the proud mother of three sons and she made raising them her priority, continually supporting them in all of their extracurricular activities. Her laugh, her smile, her spirit and her love for life was contagious, and she earned the reputation of being the consummate practical joker.
She was an avid Red Sox fan and loved traveling with Barry and vacationing with friends. Truly her life was one well-lived, and we realize just how very fortunate we all are to have had 'Di' in our lives.
In addition to her husband of 32 years, her unexpected passing leaves behind her mother, Lorraine Beauregard of Colrain; her three sons - Timothy and his wife Melissa of Turners Falls, Jameson of Buckland and Benjamin of Chicago, IL; her brothers, William and his wife Tamara of Greenfield and Michael and his wife Doni of Colrain; her in-laws, Robert and Cecelia Lapean, and brother-in-law, Kevin Lapean and his wife Nancy, all of Montague. She also leaves several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, a grandniece and a grandnephew and many, many friends.
Diana was predeceased in 2012 by her father, William Beauregard, and in 1977 by her younger brother, Robert Beauregard.
Her family requests that you please join them in remembering Diana and to celebrate her life at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 220 Federal St. in Greenfield, on Wednesday, Oct. 2nd, 2013, between the hours of 4 and 7 p.m.
At Diana's request, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Doug Turner Memorial Fund, c/o Karen Herzog, P.O. Box 132, Deerfield, MA 01342.
