BERNARDSTON - Jenna L. (DeBoer) Mauthe, 36, of Hoe Shop Road died Sunday (6-15-14) at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston due to complications with lymphoma.
She was born in Greenfield on Nov. 5, 1977, the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth (Barkow) DeBoer. She attended local schools in Greenfield and was a graduate of Northfield Mount Hermon, Class of 1996. Jenna continued her education at Wheaton College graduating in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in psychology.
Jenna adored her children and loved being a stay-at-home mom. She actively introduced them to all life has to offer and they were her priority. She enjoyed spending time with her family and being surrounded by friends.
Among her survivors, Jenna leaves her husband of 8 years, Ron Mauthe; her two sons, Ethan and Joshua; her mother, Elizabeth White and her husband Richard of Greenfield; her father, Henry ""Hank"" DeBoer and his wife Faye of Guilford, VT; a brother, Brad DeBoer and his wife, Dwalin of Bennington, VT; two nephews, Callum and Tyler; a stepsister, Stephanie Ramos of Springfield, and a stepbrother, Wade Hastings, of Bernardston.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 5 p.m. at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 220 Federal St., Greenfield. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Calling hours will be held Thursday afternoon from 1 to 5 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to ""Ethan and Joshua's Hopes and Dreams Fund"" at Greenfield Savings Bank ,P.O. Box 1537, Greenfield MA 01301.
