HOLYOKE - John J. "Jack" Albright, 66, of Holyoke, died on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013, at the Holyoke Medical Center.
He was born in Greenfield, son of the late Joseph and Nellie (Kestyn) Albright, and was a 1964 graduate of Turners Falls High School.
Jack was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, serving aboard the USS Loyalty and receiving the Vietnam Service Medal with three Bronze Stars.
He was a member of the Montague Elks Lodge and UVA Chapter 111.
He is survived by a brother, Richard A. Albright of Greenfield, and three nieces: Melissa Nykorchuk, Carrie Tirrell and Emily Sexton.
A service will be held Monday morning at 10 in the Chapel of the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St. in Agawam.
Calling hours will be held Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton St., Holyoke.
