GREENFIELD - Josephine M. (Walko) Dlugosz, 91, of Greenfield, died Thursday (11-21-13) at home.

She was born in South Deerfield on July 4, 1922, the daughter of George and Mary (Boczko) Walko. Josephine attended local schools in South Deerfield.
She was a tool assembler for the Millers Falls (tool) Co. for many years before her retirement.
In her earlier years, Josephine enjoyed hunting with her husband and attending the motorcycle races at Laconia.
Among her survivors, Josephine leaves many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph C. Dlugosz, Jr., on Nov. 30, 2001. Josephine was also predeceased by her siblings, George Walko, Roger Walko, Virginia Kuchyt and Nelly Zokowski .
A memorial graveside service will be held Wednesday, Dec., 11, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery in Turners Falls.
There will be no calling hours.
