BERNARDSTON - Kathleen R. Patch, 68, of Martindale Road, died Thursday evening (2-21-13) at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH with her family by her side after a long battle with cancer.

She was born in Montague, MA on March 27, 1944 the daughter of Charles and Loretta (Simpson) Corbin. After losing her parents as a child she was raised by grandparents Catherine (Nana), and Charles Weidley. She attended Montague Schools and graduated from Turners Falls High School, Class of 1962.
Kathy enjoyed, with her husband of nearly fifty years this July, many activities, traveling in their camper, sight seeing, Flea Markets, walking Florida and Maine beaches, collecting shells, visiting with many friends and extended family while in Florida for the winters. At home she enjoyed her family, many loving friends, tag sales, swimming and shopping.
Kathy is survived by her loving husband Lowell ""Butch"" Patch, and daughters Shelleen Patch and her loving companion John Otto of Northfield, MA, Loretta Dalton and partner Julie Sheperd of Greenfield, MA as well as a brother Larry Corbin and wife Debbie of Bennington, Vt. Six grandchildren Daniel, Matthew and Beth Dalton, and Hanna Sheperd, Tuyet and Rosie Chau, a great-grandson Kaleb Lynde, and nephews Shawn Hale, Mark Robery, Heath and Nathan Kurra, and Michael Snow. Nieces Tonya Renfroe, Heidi Bartek, Christina Patch, Tracy Rounds, and Wendy Snow. Also many dear friends from Bernardston, and her Tops group in Greenfield, MA.
She was predeceased by her sister Carol Corbin on Dec. 9, 1997.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday (2-27-2013) at 10 a.m. at the Kidder Funeral Home, 1 Parker Ave., Northfield, MA. The Rev. Dr. Christine Fontaine will officiate.
Burial will be in the spring in Center Cemetery, Buckland, MA.
Calling hours will be Tuesday evening (2-26-2013) from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral Home.
