COLRAIN - Marcia (Hall) Desreuisseau, 91, born Oct. 15, 1922 to the late Fred Hall and Eva Copeland, formerly of Colrain, MA, died Friday (2-21-14) at Charlene Manor Extended Care Facility in Greenfield, following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's.

She was predeceased by her husband, Oscar Desreuisseau in 1993; infant son, Timothy Desreuisseau, in 1956; Fred Desreuisseau in 1991 and brothers, Edgar and Gerald Hall.
She graduated from Arms Academy in 1940 and graduated from St. Margaret's Home and Hospital for Babies, Albany, NY, in 1941.
Marcia was employed as a housekeeper for many area families and previous to that worked for local apple orchards, Mohawk and Bishop's, from 1952-1967.
Her interests included genealogy, knitting, baking, camping, crossword puzzles and long walks daily.
She leaves behind three sons, Bruce Desreuisseau of Erving, MA, Rodger Desreuisseau and lifelong partner Maggie Taylor of Colrain, MA, and Mark and Judy Desreuisseau of Gill, MA. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held in the spring.
