GREENFIELD - Mary L. (Flavin) Till, 74, of Greenfield, passed away early on Sunday (10-20-13) at Buckley HealthCare Center.

Born on Feb. 15, 1939 in Rockingham, VT, she was the daughter of Walter and Margaret (Flynn) Flavin.
Moving to Greenfield with her family in the early 1950's, she was a 1957 graduate of Greenfield High School, and a 1958 graduate of Northampton Commercial College.
She was married to Thomas J. Till in Holy Trinity Church on June 24, 1961.
Mary was employed as a bookkeeper for several area doctors, and after retirement worked in the gift shop at Franklin Medical Center.
She was a member of the Holy Trinity Church.
An avid quilter, she was a member of the Mohawk Trail Quilters Guild. She was also a lover of American Girl Dolls, and had quite a collection of dolls and their clothing. But most importantly, Mary loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Thomas; two sons: Ronald E. and wife Erin of Algonquin, IL, and David T. and wife Charlene of Suffolk, VA; and five grandchildren: Tyler, Katherine, Brian, Riley and Rebecca Till. She also leaves a sister Joanne M. Gauthier of Hampton, NH, and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother, Paul Flavin.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mary will be on Thursday (10-24-13) at 9 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, with Monsignor Ronald Yargeau as celebrant. Burial will follow in North Meadow Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday (10-23-13) from 6 to 8 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 14 High St., Greenfield.
