He was born Feb. 23, 1941 in Bellows Falls, VT. He was predeceased by his parents.
Ronald is survived by his wife of 40 years, Martha, of Rio Rancho, NM, and his three children: daughter, Francesca Cormier and husband Steve with grandchildren, Dawson and Vivian; son, Alexander Fiorey with grandson Mason; daughter, Carolyn Kolstad and husband Russell with grandson Logan; brother, Russell Fiorey and wife Diana; brother Randall Fiorey and wife Candy; sister, Nancy Castor and husband Ken, and other loving family members.
Ronald graduated from Keene High School in 1959. He was a member of the choir, bowling and track teams.
Ronald served his country in the Navy aboard the USS Mullinix from 1959-1963. He received his associate's degree from Greenfield Community College.
Ronald owned M&R Collection Agency in Greenfield and Brattleboro until 1975. Ronald and Martha owned and operated the ongoing family business, The Laundry/CreeMee Creations (now Solar Express) on Federal Street in Greenfield for 25 years.
During retirement in New Mexico, beginning in 1998, Ronald and Martha owned and operated the Chuckwagon Deli until 2002. After that Ron enjoyed being a member of the Ten Pins and More Senior Bowling League and traveling to spend time with the children and grandchildren.
Ronald "Ankles" Fiorey served several terms as President of the Greenfield Men's Softball League.
He was an avid car enthusiast having owned a 1968 Corvette, a 1964 classic Chrysler Imperial and a 1930 Model A Ford. He also loved "his" Red Sox.
Private family military services will be held at the NH Boscawen Veterans Cemetery in October.
