Ruth M. Sestili, 89, formerly of West Street, was called Home to the Lord Thursday (2-21-13) at the Buckley HealthCare Center in Greenfield.

She was born in Canaan, CT, on Nov. 14, 1923, the daughter of Peter and Minnie Coons (Konz) Sestili.
Ruth was a lifelong resident of Greenfield, where she attended local schools. She was a graduate of Greenfield High School, Class of 1943.
Ruth was a store clerk for Barrett & Baker Stationary Store for 43 years. She was a communicant at Holy Trinity Church in Greenfield.
Ruth enjoyed sewing, needlework, crafts, gardening and was an avid reader.
Among her survivors, Ruth leaves three sisters, Frances Fronkus of Montague, Clara Jablonski of Turners Falls and Mary McNeil of Mashpee, and several nieces and nephews, including Peter McNeil, who was her caregiver, and several grandnieces and grandnephews.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held in the spring at Holy Trinity Church at a day and time to be announced. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery at that time.
